Twilight of Ecosystems
Evolution is usually a slow process, but in the current twilight of ecosystems we knew a mere half-century previous, the biological community of interacting organisms and their physical environment are changing faster than our collective comprehension. This turbulent change is disturbing to our psyche in ways we cannot imagine, yet display through pathological behavior. Mental disorders are thus proliferating at a rate that precludes the understanding required for any chance at reasonable adaptation. Medicating these disorders only masks the problem.
