Endurance

It is still (200 years later) the policy of the United States government to defeat tribalism as a way of life. The values of tribalism -- conservation, cooperation and reciprocity -- are anathema to the beliefs of progressivism, liberal and conservative. Growth, consumption and manifest destiny continue to drive the US policy of dominionism; President Obama -- a Wall Street liberal -- cannot help but proselytize this faith that defies the universal order observed by Indigenous peoples.
