Exorcising Sarah
One thing we can thank McCain for by selecting Sarah Palin as his VP is the revelation of horrifying, religiously-motivated child abuse -- including torture, burnings, and murder -- by the demon-hunting pentecostals Sarah has come to know and love. Talk to Action continues the expose of neopentecostal dominionists and their deliverance ministry with a closer look at the spiritual warfare unleashed by these religious fanatics against suspected witches and "demonic strongholds".
Remember when deliverance was a term used to describe backward inbreeds? Well, with the exorcising of Sarah, The Handmaid's Tale could become White House policy.
Comforting, huh?

Hard Lessons
Someone once said things that can't go on forever don't. America -- as a republic, as a democracy, as a solvent entity -- is one of those things.
Crime may pay, but crime as a model of governance and economic policy has a limited life span. That life span for America is coming to an end.
As American society unravels as a result of criminal governance begun 27 years ago, Americans can look to the experience of Argentina and elsewhere for lessons in survival and redemption. They're hard lessons, and ours will likely be no less so.

Messianic Betrayal
When people are in as deep a denial as the Bamababies, one cannot challenge that denial directly without triggering hysteria. No amount of evidence that conflicts with their emotional attachment to the Messiah Complex can penetrate their political illiteracy and psychological infantility. All that can be done is to illustrate the inherent fallibility of looking for a Messiah in other times, and then to wait for time to perhaps dispel their illiteracy through repeated Messianic betrayal.

Good Intentions Empty Promises
Progressives have been roundly criticized for their gullibility for running from one phony messianic politician to the next, and rightly so, but what more substantially distinguishes progressives is their cowardice. Ignorance can be cured, but cowardice is another matter. And cowardice is what allows our evil system of government and business to prosper.
Something to keep in mind when being seduced by their good intentions and empty promises.
